In a building designed by Pratt + Black Architects, one of the original owners purchased the adjacent unit and engaged us to combine the units and completely renovate the apartment to make a cohesive whole. The end result is a 2,675 SF apartment with four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms plus a 50’ long terrace. Construction is nearing completion.

Here’s a first look at a stone-clad, sun-drenched guest house we are currently designing in the Caribbean with our former colleague, Alexander Antonelli! Conceived of as a standalone pavilion, the Upper Level houses a Study with spectacular views of the Caribbean, as well as a Recreation Room which opens onto a basketball court. The Lower Level accommodates a large bedroom suite and a separate bunk room to accommodate family and friends. With the aim of being eco-conscious, large storage tanks have been located under the court to store rainwater gathered during the wet months in order to support the luxuriant vegetation on this estate during the dry months.

We are delighted to share photos of our recent renovation of a commodious 3,700 SF industrial loft in Tribeca. The client’s growing family was seeking to organize this gracious space into a series of intimate gathering spaces that flow seamlessly from one area to the next. The key areas of impact included relocating and enlarging the kitchen and dining areas and creating two distinct living areas which can be screened off from each other using smart glass. We also designed targeted storage solutions, custom furnishings, and new bathrooms which celebrate the majesty and quiet pleasure of natural materials.

We are thrilled to share photos of our newly completed gut renovation of a sun-soaked, serene two-bedroom apartment on Park Avenue. The apartment, which features sweeping views over the Central Park reservoir, was in need of updating and the scope of our renovation included repositioning the kitchen to create a more fluid relationship between the entertainment spaces, the addition of central air conditioning/heating, purpose-built storage and display solutions, two fully redesigned ensuite bathrooms and the addition of a new powder room.

The revitalization of this 10,000 square foot home and property in the Hamptons took less than one year to complete from initial survey to move-in. As part of a very seasoned team of designers and builders, we defied supply chain complications and a severely back-logged building department to transform a spec. home and grounds into a customized sanctuary. The renovated home features 7 generous bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, 2 powder rooms, and new windows and doors throughout which lead out onto exterior porches and balconies designed to take in spectacular views of the freshly manicured landscape and pool.
